IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - The University of Iowa published its weekly snapshot for the number of self-reported COVID-19 cases for the first week of the semester. On Friday, the University of Iowa reported 500 more self-reported student cases of COVID-19, bringing the campus' total to 607 over the past two weeks. 2020 year-end numbers can be found here. A student in the College of Dentistry shared the news with college leadership, who immediately contacted Johnson County Public Health (JCPH). That total includes 14 students, four staff members and one faculty member through on-campus testing, as well as one staff member and two students who reported testing positive from off-campus sources.
